I'm Ron Schwarz of "On The River" Guide
Service. I am a licensed guide in Stevens
Point, WI. and primarily fish the Stevens Point Flowage. This
3900 acre stretch of the Wisconsin River is home to all the freshwater
gamefish typically found in most Wisconsin
lakes; walleye, smallmouth & largemouth bass, musky, and northern pike.
The Wisconsin Hook & Line Fishing Regulations lists the Wisconsin River as a quality fishing opportunity.

I fish from a Ranger 681VS with a 115 HP motor. It will comfortably
accommodate me and 2 guests for whatever it is we are after. Bring along
your favorite tackle or let me provide you with it. I do encourage catch
& release and will gladly photograph your catch for you.

I'm a member of two fishing clubs here in Stevens Point; The 12
Apostles Musky Club and the Prime Water Anglers.
The 12 Apostles Musky Club has a membership of over 200 members and has
been active since 1977. To their credit over 30,000 musky and walleye
have been stocked in lakes and rivers throughout the state. I personally
participate in our annual stocking of over 150 muskies in the Stevens Point
Flowage each year.
The Prime Water Anglers is a multi-species club, with an emphasis on
walleye and bass.

Rates for 2008 based on 1 or 2 guests
per trip are:
4 + hrs/$130, 8 +
hrs/$230, 3-4 hour sunset trips - $100
Gift certificates are available
Reservations are appreciated and can be made with a credit card or a check
for 50% of the trip. Cancellation notification is requested as soon as
possible for a full refund. 48 hours is minimum notice for a refund minus a
$15 service fee.
